What data we collect 

We currently collect and process the following information:

  • Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (for example, name, company, job title, and contact details)

  • Financial information (billing and payment information)

  • Documentation related to the translation assignments we are hired to carry out 

How we receive the data 

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • You booked a discovery call 

  • You contacted us on social media or on the phone or by email

  • You hired our services

Why we collect your data 

We use the information that you have provided in order to:

  • deliver the services we have been hired for, under the terms and conditions which will be made available to you at the time of purchase

  • improve our services

  • fulfil our commercial and taxation obligations

  • send marketing communications. You may opt out of receiving marketing communications through any means, at any time, by sending us an email to paula@d6translations.com

How long we store your data

We keep personal and billing information until the work relationship has explicitly come to an end. We keep work documentation for six years. 

What data we share

We only share the information needed to fulfil your work request, such as original document to be translated, reference material, glossaries provided by you or prepared by us, etc. We do not share financial or personal information with third parties, unless required by law.

Your rights

You have the right to request copies of your information as well as to rectify it, get it deleted, restrict how we process it, or object to how we process it. 

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
